She keeps laughing and smiling
He keeps looking at her…

I think she's in love.

Geometry PoemWe make quite the linear pair
We are both acute
Our minds are parallel
She is the centroid of my life.
Although we two angles are no longer adjacent,
We will always be vertical angles, equal.
We are each other's complements;
Supplementing the other's life.
On life's coordinate plane,
Our friendship is similar to a line;
Because it will go on forever.
BackSo now I'm here,
Back on a path,
If a little more dusty and worn-out.
It's like being  a recovering addict.
You know you could go back,
But you try not to.
The Last PoemToday is the first day of the rest of my life. Without you.

And I feel free. You will go your own way. I will go mine.

So, maybe as a last hurrah,

I have to thank you…

For being there (even though you didn't know it)

To ease the pain of lost love,

Help me through rough nights,

And show me that there was something more.

Even if people said there was more than you.
